View Full Version : Resell.biz has NO support at all!!
sodapopinski 11-06-2008, 12:17 PM Resell.biz has NO support at all!!
I signed up with resell.biz and accidentally choosed wrong selling currency. After the account is active, I read the manual and see that BEFORE any transaction is made, we can swicth the selling currency. Thus I set it through setting >> finance and billing >> general setting and everything shows just fine until I tried to register the domain.
Then after deposited $100, I tried to register new domains and always got no luck with 'Insufficient funds error'
I checked all and found the calculation is STILL based on old wrong currency method. Thus the system is conflict.
I tried to called their office 1-312-447-6810 and seems there's no divison for domain name reseller support. I tried to go to ext 4 (dedicated server support and the staff just turn off the phone. Tried billing and sales support, noone picked up it although I tried within 6 hours (tried more than 50times within that period)
So I guess they are selling the domain too cheap that's why can give no support and finally I clicked request refund for my deposit. Hopefully it will have no problem with it.
I guess I should back to use enom and directi as my domain provider.

Yup..see my post above --> "...and finally I clicked request refund for my deposit. Hopefully it will have no problem with it."
netearth 11-06-2008, 12:49 PM Well the manual refund will go through when their billing department gets to it.
Did you put funds on before you changed the currencies (I know you said above the other way round, but just making sure) or after?

sodapopinski 11-06-2008, 12:58 PM I put the money 1 day AFTER I changed the selling currency type.
Just to clarify, at the first time signup, accidentally I choosed selling currency as IDR and change it to US$ as soon as the account is active (the system said it's OK because no transaction has been made yet, but the whole account suddently conflicted..I assume it's logicboxes bug). And then deposited $100 via paypal.

Do you recall what time you attempted to contact us? I'm obviously very concerned that you weren't able to reach an agent.
We are fully staffed on the phones 24/7 and our average hold time is around 8 minutes. I'll get to the bottom of this, could you PM me one of your domain names?
Marc

Do you have any sample ticket numbers for me? I'd really like to dig more into this and see what's going on.
Marc

Sure, ticket #22774755 took 5 days to get a reply. I also sent a request on Sep. 9, 2008 which I did not receive a reply to (No ticket ID as no reply was sent). The email address was support@autica.com

You're absolutely correct, you should have received a response MUCH quicker. I'm going to bring this up immediately with my management team to ensure this doesn't repeat itself.
How has service been since then? Anything else you can bring to my attention?
Marc
