I am looking to upgrading my blogging software from wordpress to a paid one. Any recommendations on which paid blogging software is currently the best in the industry? :confused:

Why are you looking for a paid option? Wordpress is one of the, if not the best blogging solution available today.
You will not get the support or community available like what is for wordpress with any paid solution.

Yes wordpress is the best free blog software out there. Try it before you go with paid. I don't think paid blog is any better than wordpress.

Wordpress has got some performance issues on shared servers, with some plugins installed. This might be the reason for the switch.

Yes but would it not be easier to look at different plugins than pay for a solution?

There's always a solution, but some plugins that offer unique functionality do consume a lot of resources, one example is a plugin for displaying external RSS feeds on your website. This plugin overloads the server when it runs.

With open source, you have to find the solution yourself. With a paid script, you submit a ticket and the staff finds the solution.
