So as not to advertise for them, here is the entire contents of a certain web hosts FAQ page:What is Cpanel and WebHosting Manager?
WebHosting Manager is a program made to help you manage your reseller account, and Cpanel is a program to help you manage individual websites. See cpanel.net for more details.
What is Fantastico?
It is a program to help you install scripts on individual websites. See the Fantastico Website for details.
Now I have seen some short or useless faqs before, but I think this one takes the cake.
Other "pain in the behind" faqs are the ones with two links: one for direct cleints and one for resellers. Not a bad concept separating the two, but did they need to have a faq page with two links instead of just linking to the sections directly in the first place? This is almost as pointless as "click to enter" index page.
Some have their faq pages separated by topic, which is OK if there are more than a half dozen or so questions.
My favorite type of faq pages have the questions at the top, and all the questions and answers listed in order underneath. That way you don't have to wait for another page to load, and you can read the answers to related questions as well.
So if you find any other pointless FAQ pages, post the contents. (not the site - we don't want to give them free advertising)
