Can I pay someone to advertise my sites for me?

The problem with advertising is that unless you do it yourself, you may have to pay more in advertising than you actually make from profit unless you have an amazing service/product. I swear that Adwords just takes your money and doesn't give you visitors in return. Because when I manually contact someone there is a 90% chance that they will join my site whereas through automated processes like Adwords, thousands of people will visit (according to Google) yet out of those thousands no one signs up.
I am really burned out when it comes to finding contacts who may be interested in my site. Is there a way I can pay someone to do this for me? Everyone that I know from my sites say that they will help but never do the job. So is there a business or someone here that knows how to get people to your site without charging you hundreds of dollars for no results in return? Basically I want to pay someone who can give me results since I can no longer do everything myself. Thanks.

What kind of site do you have? What types of marketing have you done? Have you ever thought about SEO?
I SEO my websites and rank high for many keywords, for one these keywords I get almost 1,000 unique visitors a day. If I was to pay for this keyword I would spend at least $700-800. Also I get great amount of people signing up and buying from me.
If you have questions or need something like that just PM me.

Depending on what you're selling, maybe an affiliate program will work for you. That way you pay only for sales.

I have an affiliate plan and members share their affiliate links but the problem is that they place their links on sites or pages that hardly receive any traffic. Hehe I know all about SEO, been studying it for years. SEO is dead now for new sites. Back then when corporate sites were not SEO friendly you had an advantage. Now millions (possibility billions) of sites are SEO friendly so that defeats the purpose. To answer another question, this particular site is music related in promoting independent musicians. Kinda like Myspace only without all of the crap advertisements and bugs. I have manually contacted people one by one and all of them have signed up with premium accounts. However these are people that I used to talk to one on one and they have gotten to know me and my work ethic so they support my site. However I cannot continue to do so since I am so busy working on other things now and it would be great to pay someone who understands how to advertise and to get the job done.

SEO is "never" dead.
It just changes.
My site is two months old, and I rank like i said top 10 for the highest keywords related.

I am sure it is a keyword that is not commonly searched SEO is dead. Lets say you have a total of 10 major sites and 5 unheard of sites on the internet. The 10 sites were not SEO friendly but the 5 unheard sites were. So that would list the first 5 sites first since they were SEO friendly, and the other 10 last. However, now those 10 major sites are SEO friendly as well, so they pushed those unheard of sites down to the end of the list. That is what is happening now which is why SEO is useless. Sure SEO is better than nothing, but it is not as effective as it used to be when you could get any keyword that you wanted on Page 1 results. Anyone who disagrees has no idea what they are talking about and I will not even bother to argue.

Sorry Lexington, but I have to disagree with you strongly. Im on my 3rd site, and I have killed the competition for all the sites I have came across.
Good Luck with your business, sounds like a nice site and something I would check out, PM the link.

Why don't you look at getting your current members to promote the site for you. Offer a monthly prize for the member with the most referrals
