I am looking around for a host for 2 small websites. After a bit of research I can see that Valuhost UK and 1&1 are offering me similar packages for similar prices.

I need to be able to have more than one domain (not so common) but none of the fancier stuff as the stes will be small and fairly static. Both Valuhost and 1&1 offer mutiple domains with their basic packages.

Can anyone advise me about these 2? Or another option.

Also I have read posts that suggest it's not such a good idea to register my domain with 1&1 but I am being offered free domain names from valuehost if I sign up for 2 years hosting package. Is this a good deal or could there be problems in the future?

Scheemo, maybe also look at www.whichhosts.com which lists many UK based hosters. (Which I think you are looking for) You should find many there that will suit your budget.

Are they reliable? Is it a good idea to let them register my domains? Is there better UK hosts out there where I can host multiple domains on a single basic package?
