Alienware's a little expensive. It's much easier to find custom cases on the web and buy components from a wholesaler. For what AW charges you could get 10x the PC looking as good if not better.

Try a Local Computer Store
Some of them are great.

Also do you have Marketpro Computer Shows.

Most of the marketpro computer show venders in our area have
physical businesses in the area and are legit.

Dell has BYO but it is oriented toward business.
I can't believe you can't find a local Master Builder.
The guy who builds mine is an A-Open reseller and we trade his labor for mine.

I think of alienware as overpriced sweet machines ;) The only machine I do like is their gaming laptop. Falcon Northwest is very good, but not less expensive then alienware. If you're building, I suggest www.newegg.com for parts.

If you want a fully customized system, but aren't comfortable throwing the pieces together yourself, you might want to check out http://directron.com

You can pick out all of the parts you want and you can have them assemble it, test and burn it in, load the OS, drivers etc. for $39.

Alienware is very nice but expensive. I suggest that you do a little research and build your own computer. You can get a kick-butt system for a lot less than you'll spend on alienware rigs. Visit the Amd Motherboard Forums (http://www.amdmb.com) and you can get lots of help there.
I built my first rig last year and I would have spent maybe twice as much on an Alienware system.

I found a place with *Excellent prices*.. I built a 2.8 ghz system with 1 gb of ram and top of the line video, sound and everything else @ http://myjackrabbit.com/.. check out their Gamer System section.. If anyone knows anymore places before I buy this one let me know, this seems like the best deal yet though.. Thanks for the help.

They have abslutely no reseller rating at all:

http://resellerratings.com/reseller_list.pl?browse=m&nosearch=my%20jack%20rabbit

This isnt necessarily a bad thing, but just to let you know.
