View Full Version : 25 Clients used to personalized service FOR SALE
MattG 03-21-2001, 03:19 PM Looking for the "right host" who can continue the personalized service offered to our clients. Alabanza or Cpanel hosts only, with quality customer service reputation. One individual coordinates 17 of them, and they are pre-paid every 6 months. The others are individual customers.
Hosts generate approx $200 mo revenue. I am asking 2x the annual revenue rate.
20 of these hosts use > 20 mb of space and all >.5 GB /mo.
Two accounts use 100 and 200 MB of HD space and total bandwidth is >2GB . Please contact me directly at gubalam@whatuwant.com
I am also availible to speak @ this by phone following an e-mail inquiry.
Thank you for your consideration.
Chicken 03-22-2001, 12:35 AM So you are asking almost $5,000 ???
CRego3D 03-22-2001, 01:45 AM hehe
Indeed he is :D
Well, it's a free country ,, and buddy, if you get somebody to pay you that price, give me a call, I have a spot in my sales dep for you ;)
I'll offer three months of revenue.
MattG 03-22-2001, 08:28 PM Chicken,
Yes, that is correct. It probably would help to point out that this group of customers generates its own new customers. Most of the customer service hosts have a low turnover rate. I have lost one, since 1999, which is when my hosting business started gaining customers.
I would be interested in all the items I identified, especially the cpanel host with a good customer service reference.
Any sincere offer will be listened to, as I am in need of hosting services in the future, for my "higher end clients" but it should be one that is equivalent to my asking price.
Thank you for your consideration.
Matt
MattG 03-23-2001, 08:33 AM To respond to the interested parties...
With the exception of gross negligence, (that is unacceptable lack of service provided to our customers) We would be willing for a portion of your payment to be held in trust by an mutually agreed upon attorney for 3 months to ensure the of customers' intent to stay with your organization. We will also sign an agreement of non-solicitation to these customer organizations.
Sesran 03-24-2001, 11:16 AM So we take your clients and pay you all the revenue for two years, which means we make zilch. This also means we waste our time and support. Then assuming that all the customers stay, we begin to make a profit after the two years. I really don't think you will find someone to do this. How about I take your clients and pay you 50% of the profit from the ones that stay for the first two years?
This isn't going to work. I would look into this, but we would be loosing alot of money with your 25 clients. You have to do something like offer them your services and take only 50% of the profits. Meaning, if the company brings in $200.00 a month, then take out the server fees: $100.00 a month, so you would be getting $50.00 and then we would be getting $50.00/month. Its better than nothing, but the way you want it, your never going to find anyone.
Jim
