The webspace is allowed for personal or business website only. You can not use it for any other purpose like entertainment, downloads, uploads, file sharing...etc. This must contain only webpages you can not keep any media files, softwares, ebooks, zip / rar files or any other non web files. Failure to follow the terms of services may leads you towards suspension of account.
I hope you understand.
Thank you

Some hosts do not allow hosting media files. It is better to check with the host or go through their terms and conditions before sign up in order to avoid this.
Good luck!

Always best to read the hosts TOS. Know that can be a pain sometimes, but in cases like this, would have saved you some headaches.

I don't see how anyone can consider a shared host to be dishonest if a restriction is spelled out in the TOS.
If this however fell under some generic "abuse" clause, then one would have to look at the level of music file a person might want to use on a personnal site. These days I would imagine that an individual might want to personnally access about 5 to 10 gigs of personal files while being out and about in a mobile manner.
If the TOS specifically prohibits any media files at all then the host is not at fault in any way, since I can't imagine paying out good hard-earned cash every month without examining the TOS in extreme detail first.
