This promotion did really well for us - so well that we had to receive some additional IP address allocations from our upstream provider.
If you were waiting for a VPS, you should receive the account setup details shortly - please accept our apologies for the delay.
Of course, if you haven't purchased one yet, what are you waiting for? In just 2 hours, you may not be in beautiful Miami Beach, FL but your server could enjoy the weather.
(Sorry, bad plug, it's the best I could come up with after configuring VM's for a few hours.. smiles)

Just purchased a VPS at $0.60 for the first month, going to try you out for the first month see how it goes.

Uh-oh: you got me started on one of my rants.
We don't limit CPU utilization or bandwidth nor do we cripple our hosts with overselling.
In fact, the motivation for doing this promo is so we can show off our network and server performance. We're willing to take a loss on the first month of service to do it since we know that the best way to win customers over is for them to see things firsthand.
After all - if we couldn't back up our service claims, that's the worst type of promo we could have.
That being said, VPS's run on a VMWare ESX v3.5i platform on dual processor and dual core hosts (mostly Dell 2950's, but we do have an Opteron 280 or two in there). Our PowerEdge 2950's, are max'd out with six disk SAS RAID arrays, set as either RAID 6 or RAID 10.

Hi Meads,
I'm glad that you took the time to chat me today for me to keep you in the loop. I was told a route flap at our upstream provider caused the disruption to our network connectivity. Luckily, not all customers were affected, as BGP did route around it in some cases.
Concerns about stability are understandable but we're proud of our uptime numbers and display them publicly (even when they don't count planned downtime). In fact, our two hour downtime today was the longest we've had in our 14 months of operation.http://www.siteuptime.com/prem_stati...
