HELP! I need a 40G seagate (NEW) 7200 RPM HD by tomorow afternoon! Its now sunday night, does ANYONE know any online store or store in NY that will ship it to me and get it to me by tomorow?

PS its not a life-and-death situtation, we can even wait till tuesday, the server has RAID 1, so it is still online

Why does it need to be a 40 gig rather than a 20 gig? If you're setting up a server for a client or something, than you should test it as much as you can to check for a bad drive before you get close to the date it was supposed to be ready. If you just got it in and that was your chance, then tell the client. If this is your own server, why not just use the 20 gig for now? Is there a reason why the 20 gig won't work? I'm just thinking that maybe there's some solution to your immediate problem other than trying to have someone on a Sunday overnight a drive by Monday.

Hi. Its for our clients. We tested the HD 2-3 weeks ago, it passed all test, including recertification and all extensive tests. We cant put a 20G in because the server holds about 30G of data and a 20G drive would make the raid 20G :(

No courier will pick up on sunday night :(


PPPS: (:)) - the hd isnt bad as in it lost data, it gives errors reading or writing, then times out. a reboot solves the problem, then happens again later. I guess thats why it passed the tests
