Hello guys,
I am looking into three live chat software:-
Live Help Messenger (http://livehelp.stardevelop.com/)
Provide Support (http://www.providesupport.com)
Kayako (http://www.kayako.com)I would like to hear the opinions of you guys about these software.
Please also vote in the poll if possible.
Thank you.

I went for Kayoko... only because of it's clean integration with their helpdesk.

I still have a licence of Live Help Messenger lying around my inbox...
They say the main requirement is a web server supporting php and mysql, but it's clearly wrong.
For instance, Live Help Messenger doesn't work on Lighttpd. I had to dig through a whole lot of dirt to figure that one. Support responded my tickets with canned answers. They clearly didn't know the reason to my issue.
Truth is, it's not a bad product, but kayako has WAY better support.

Hi, am curious how you narrowed your choices to the 3 in your post/poll, as there are about two dozen providers available.
Also, are you looking at hosting the server software on your own servers, or having one of the providers host it for you?

To be honest, I had constant problems with the Live Help Messenger operator console crashing.
I have since switched to LiveZilla and could not be happier. The operator console for LiveZilla is amazing. Best thing about LiveZilla is that it is free and open source ;) May want to at least check it out.

Hello Dave,
The interface, ease of use and adaption is what makes me narrow them down to this three. Self-hosted option should be ok.
Any opinions or recommendations? :)

Thanks Daniel for that recommendations. Will look into Livezilla as well.
Do you have any problems or issues with Livezilla?

Wow, you must love throwing money away. $50/month per operator? Yikes!

From my experience, it's just the opposite. Kayako has pathetic support, historically, and a very poor product. If their system wasn't so advanced (and the only one working worth a damn in WHMCS), I'd dump 'em all together.
Support? Not kayako.
Stardevelop, on the other hand HAS resolved issues a number of times for me, all within 24h. That's not saying their product is perfect, but most of the time it's the environment it's in.
They don't tell you that lighthttpd isn't supported, probably because the scenario hasn't come up. Keep in mind that lighthttpd has it's own setup for php, so most likely something is not compatable there. That doesn't make it livehelp's fault, but they CAN'T support every possible scenario, that's just silly.

Livezilla is incredible, you really must look into it.
