Hello Everyone!

I need a new backend for a portal/news/community website, which will be launching in a few months.

ideally i need the backend in about a week.

PHP is preferable, but asp is an option. it must be powered by a backend.

the features it must have are;

User signup/Login System. (with password retrieval etc...)

A Good forum (user base must be integrated with main site user base)

A content management system - admins can choose a template, and then write an article. A Link will automatically be placed on another listing page..

Address Book / I have seen ones that sync with microsoft outlook as well,,,

User Profile System, Which users can edit

PM System - User to User Talking...

Save Page/Sort of function (basically, if someone is viewing a page, and they want to view it later from home or school or something, they can save it in their "personal folder", and it will have a link and a description next to it - so when they come back there will be a list of saved pages.)

SMS - I will find a gateway - but the sms must be programmed into the address book etc....

THIS MUST BE POWERED BY SOME SORT OF DATABASE.

This site is planning to launch quite soon, so money is limited. It is already hosted on a top of the range account at kualo ltd (http://www.kualo.com)

The only payment i can give you is a free hosting account for a year (then a reduced rate of about £15 or something).

I really do need some help.Once the site hits off, maybe i can pay you to do some more modules.....

Please contact me at; aalibhai06@hotmail.com (you can msn me as well) - Please dont write PM's -as i dont check this *all* the time ;)

Thank you
Asif Alibhai

why not just use PHPNuke or PostNuke? they do just about what you're asking for, they're free, and they're already written.
