XN CEO 09-08-2002, 10:37 AM well, I use 2checkout.com and for only $50 upfront, i am very happy. No monthly fees, good trans. fees, just a good all-around processor. Or try someone like paypal, hostcharge, or echo-inc
Mekhu 09-08-2002, 11:11 AM I also use 2checkout.com
Just to give you a quick overview of how much they charge for transactions:
Total in sales over past 2 weeks using 2checkout was:
255.67
Total in account after fees and stuff, 238.45
To be 100% honest, I don't even know what % they take, but I can tell you this... I DO NOTHING :) I just sell and they handle the rest which is key :)
Between 2checkout and paypal, all clients have been happy to date.
XN CEO 09-08-2002, 11:13 AM same here. the fees are as follows:
transaction fee is $.45
and percentage is 5.5%
mripguru 09-08-2002, 11:13 AM Mekhu,
They take 5.5% and 35 cents per transaction.
XN CEO 09-08-2002, 11:15 AM it is now $.45 you must have signed up ealier than myself.
BoOmEr2120 09-08-2002, 11:15 AM Do they require that you have a business account, or would they just send you a check in the mail?
XN CEO 09-08-2002, 11:15 AM they can do check in the mail, or they can direct deposit in the bank.
Mekhu 09-08-2002, 11:22 AM Thanks for the figures! I actually signed up with them some 2 years ago I think it was, so they slipped my mind.
I have been super happy with their service to date though!
mripguru 09-08-2002, 11:24 AM Boomer, they don't require a buisness account. Any old bank account will do :)
XN CEO 09-08-2002, 11:27 AM Yes any bank account will do, and i highly recommend them.
mripguru 09-08-2002, 11:28 AM I actually recommend revecom, if you think you might get alot of fraud as they use very sophisticated fraud detection algorithms. However, they do tend to charge a bit more 3.95% per transaction and $1 for authorization.

They (2checkout) are just great, you won't be disappointed.
I would suggest Revecom or better yet a real merchant account. For hosting, a merchant account is your best bet. If you must use a third party, Revecom has a feature rich system, 2checkout doesn't even compare to it. With 2checkout you can get killed on chargebacks, they are non-forgiving.

WebmastTroy 09-16-2002, 02:54 AM My only thing with 2checkout is the payout is limited to $1,000 every 2 weeks unless you do that for several months and then you can inquire to get it raised. It's a pain to have to wait a month or so to receive large payments.
