Most of these stickies are sold out months in advance, so you're really not going to see a "decrease" in pricing, you're going to see an "increase" in pricing. Hence, the supply/demand concept!

Honestly, I don't know exactly which day the prices do changed, but for sure the past month was in $50.

yes, but you can't get it for a month, you have to do it in week to week basics, if you forget to get your sticky you lose it.

$100 a sticky, $500 a sticky, somebody somewhere will pay for it, just look at what affiliate programs pay out for customer referral sales. It's a cut throat business, but so long as the item is selling and it's a limited commodity item selling out months in advance, price will only ever continue to go up until nobody buys them anymore. Dedicated stickies used to be sold out in minutes when they were available before, and I'm guessing if every company could double their prices & sell out months in advance, they'd probably do it too.

I would expect the price to continue to rise until the waiting list is not quite so long. Not surprising to see this sort of advertising in such huge demand. The margins may be slim, but as PhMatt mentioned, web hosting affiliate payouts do tell quite a story in regards to the value of new customers.

i wonder if actually advertising a high paying affiliate program through a stickie would actually yield better income?
