any idea how much BSD/OS costs nowadays? Anyone using it?

Why not just use FreeBSD or something similar thats free?

So does hotmail. And there was a Microsoft website with a few reasons why *nix wasn't as good as windows and it was hosted on a BSD box!

haha i heard about that way back it was quite funny they were saying that then using exactly the oposite ;)

Hmm. Does BSD/OS support all the modern hardware typical 1U rackmounts have? Would it even be worth it to try to put it on standard i386 equipment?

well, they are not VERY VERY good with new hardware, but I think all the basic stuff... like netbsd, openbsd is supported (I hope, but they don't provide a lot of info on their site)
