I maintained some not so common domain name for .com and even .INFO .BIZ domains. Let me have your opinion about it. This is not for sale, please post your comments/suggestion.

centraone.com
admit.info
coolgift.biz
expressloan.info
hackology.info
hoax.biz
domainbid.biz
messageforum.info
yipes.info
yourID.biz
myID.biz
searchIT.info

Do these domains have potential for business use?

Thank you.

First off, I enjoy the diversity that exists today, with the .info and .biz in the "game". As much as I want to remain objective, this is solely my opinion and it's based on my viewpoint of the current market.

Disclaimers aside, here we go :D

Nice creative name centraone.com
Hmm lying spouses central? admit.info
Arts and crafts coolgift.biz
Financial web site expressloan.info
A bit obscure hackology.info
Very nice name - conspiracy theorists would love it hoax.biz
Excellent name - domainbid.biz
Hmm a mix of two worlds - not too keen on this one messageforum.info
Sell it to Yipes? They are back in biz ;) yipes.info
Photo ID business yourID.biz
ditto myID.biz
Cool search engine for IT personnel searchIT.info

Only one dot com?
Stay away from .Biz and .Info - and all other "new" tLDS for a while at least? Even .Nets and Orgs are better.

Greetings DotComster,

Thanks for the feedback.

I have some good names in dot com such as needname.com, boardmod.com, certificateID.com, needReseller.com, needNS.com, phpshell.com, phphack.com, etc. for business use.

For needname.com, I'm hoping to close a deal with enom so I can offer the domain name for as low as $8.75. I will market this using needReseller.com domain and low cost web hosting reseller (5-10 resellers per server) to keep quality of service. The needNS.com will be use for domain name management, FREE for certain use such as cname, url forwarding and A record and pay based with MX record, roundrobin record and other good stuff. This project still on hold, we're still working for web-based client management.

I will post it here once it is available for service. I guess in advertisement page.

Cheers.

Might work out. Good luck to you! :D

I have yet to find more than a handful active and interesting websites that are located on a .biz or .info domain. Maybe someday it will be popular, but seems that it was only popular among registrars (who got the reg fee) and speculators at land rush or whatever they called it.

I'd never go with anything but .com ... maybe .net if desperate. People will inevitably type ".com" even if it's .info or .net or whatever.

I agree with DotComster, I really hesitate to buy domains which are not .coms eventhough they're good names

NetworksData,
Thanks for the feedback. Though I get what I want in .INFO domain names and used them now such as TechForum.INFO and SearchName.INFO (soon to open).
