Component Details: R.E.D. PC only uses components of the highest quality. Our SDRAM is manufactured by Kingston and our DDR Ram is Crucial (Micron). All our Hard Drives are Western Digital and everything over 80Gb has an 8mb cache for improved performance. Ethernet adapters are 3com, PCI Raid cards are HighPoint, PCI video is ATI or nVidia. Chassis is manufactured by Skyhawk. Our 1U servers can house one hard drive each, and our 2U servers can house upto 4.

Shipping is a flat $25 per system. Assembly usually takes about 5 to 10 days and delivery 2 to 3 days. All packages are insured for full value. We install your choice of GNU OS free, and are willing to provide technical support on any hardware related issues. All servers are tested for 24 hours prior to shipping to insure stability. These are regular white box cases, right?

These are standard 1U 19" rackmount cases, that is why the prices are considerably higher. If you prefer standard ATX mid-tower cases, you can take off about $150 from the server prices.

Also I think pricing is not allowed in sigs :D

Learning from past experience ;) :D

I assume you're referring to the standard server, since the PCI riser provides only one PCI slot, a new motherboard with built in LAN will be needed and a PCI SCSI card for the riser. I can offer you the necessary motherboard changes + the SCSI card and a 36.4GB 7200RPM Ultra 160 for only $40 extra, or an 18GB 10,000RPM for about $60 extra (SCSI card more expensive, drives cost about the same.)

I think you may be confused. Black Lotus Communications is a distributor of R.E.D. PC, they sell our products through their store. We are not the same company, and we have no knowledge of their web hosting side.
