Hi

I am thinking of starting a new business. It’s not exactly Webhosting but is related to it.
This would be a first big business step for me and I am a bit scared of starting out and how to go about it.

I have a few things I am not sure of. My product will have to be integrated with some other commercial applications. How would I go about getting and setting up test environment for these systems.
And I am not too confident with face to face selling, but the market the product is targeted at would respond best to face to face selling the best. (Like setting up meetings to see decision makers) are there companies or contractors out there who would work on commission basis?

I know it’s could vague question, but some guidance would be appreciated.

You're going to need to gain confidence and stand behind your product, man.

You could use VMware or another virtualization technology for a test bed.

Get used to hearing "no". The difference between a good salesman/woman is one that is willing to go back to a client that said "no" and see how they could improve to try again.
