Hello,
I am currently reselling about 20 hosting accounts and I am responsible for my own billing. So far, I have always had clients by by check, but I am looking into adding credit card capability.

Does anyone have experience/recommendations with a way to process cards without spending a lot of money?

You Can use paypal,2co,alertpay

Paypal and 2checkout.com are common methods that don't require you to have your own merchant account. Obviously the fees for 2checkout would be a bit more due to that.

Professional wise, I'll give my thumbs up for Authorize.net (You can get approved through a reseller on that site for a merchant account) and process cards live.

It really depends on if you see a strong growing need as to how far and how complex you want your card system. Can't go wrong with Authorize.net though.

From experience I find authorize.net pron to fraud a lot, even with maxmind fraud protection. I prefer 2co over it because 2co claims they verify all orders manually and most times calling customers to verify their order, sure the fees are high but at least it's "safe".

I'd recommend 2co.

I'd much rather pay those fees rather than have to deal with fraud.

Thanks
