Hi,
We are looking for some people to have a try our offsite automated backup script - dont worry the script and account are free.
It is very light weight, written in Perl and needs only a few variables setup to start running.
It runs via a crontab and zips up whatever directory you point it at and sends it off to 2Big2Send where you backups are stored for 5 days (paid plans get longer).
This is great if you are making changes to live sites because you get a full backup held for you to revert back to incase of disaster.
And because the backup is not located on your server you are safe in knowing that your server can crash and burn but all your data will be kept off site replicated on your storage servers.
The only requirement is that you obviously need a 2big2send.com (http://www.2big2send.com) account.
