NOTES
* We now allow you to be direct with Global Compass, if you prefer and we will lease the servers to you. A special contract is required that allows us access to these servers at any time, in case you don't pay your bill. This offer is ONLY for Global Compass. If you choose this route then add $10 to the monthly of each server plus. If you want us to install the OS add an additional $25.00 to the setup fee. If you are not located with us then all we provide support for is the hardware. If you locate direct with GC then all we provide is the hardware. Bandwidth, Rackspace, Switch, Power and IP's are your responsibility.

FAQ

Is there a limit to how many I can start with?
Nope, start with 1 or 10.

What is the lead time to get them installed?
That depends. We are trying to keep several of each type online to provide clients with just a few hour setup. In general we ask a 3 day lead time.

Can I have both multi and single homed?
Absolutely. But you are required to buy bandwidth in both types. 1 MBPS of multi-homed will not allow you to spread it across to single homed

Got an IP to ping?
Sure do:

66.154.89.1 -> Multi-Homed
66.28.158.1 -> Single-Homed

I notice you allow me to go direct with Global Compass, Will you do this in any other NOC
No.

For additional information please contact us. Someone has to be the first, come see why we make the changes that others tend to follow.

Pentium 3 Celeron 1.2 GHz
Pentium 4 Celeron 1.7 GHz

Does that mean the P3/4 are 1.2GHz/1.7GHz or a typo, as there's no such thing as a P3 Celeron 1.2GHz

No it means what it says. The Celeron 1.2 GHz is based on P3 technology and the Celeron 1.7 GHz is based on P4 technology.

The P3 Celeron has a 100 MHz FSB and the P4 Celeron has a 400 MHz FSB.

As for the no such thing as P3 Celeron, that is correct, but for the average person if I said Celeron 1.2 GHz and Celeron 1.7 GHz they would think "same chip...different speed" when in actuality they are two totally different chips.

Does that answer the question?

Hello,

I can't calculte the prices of badwidth, cpanel and server seperately so can you please quote that what will be the price for:

P3 1GHZ with 512MB RAM
500GB B/W
any good hard disk

Please quote both prices (to lease, to own).

Thanks!

If you are gonna be reselling them then it would be the following:

$55 for the server
$50 for cpanel

Then you would start with 1 mbps of bandwidth (about 333 GB's) and if you need more buy it later. But you will find that your average server uses less than 100 GB of bandwidth.

1 mbps multi-homed - $225

So the total Monthly would be -> $330

Also remember that each additional server you add will use bandwidth from your 1 mbps that you initially purchase.

Let me know if you have further questions.

Good offer....just that it requires committment, or you need to have certain number of servers initially for it to be feasible. How about a "pay as you use" plan for the bandwidth side of things?
