I created a demo subdomain for my hosting site, for 5MB space and 5MB bandwidth.
so this demo subdomain also has CPANEL... and i give the password to access this CPANEL as a demonstration for potential customers...
my question is..are there any dangers/risk in doing so?

Yes, there are many reasons for not allowing public access to a live account, including demo's of cpanel without doing some pretty radical changes to file permissions etc, disabling everything - In short I would recommend that you build yourself a static Html page version for folks to look at, much safer.
You could do a walk through using pics and allow the to view the pics in large mode...
I mean, they will get the idea all the same and chances are theyve seen a demo or used cpanel already..
Or either they are a new customer in which it wont matter anyway..

there was an issue with fork bombs 'implanted' via demo-accounts
but I think its safe now
