That's right. I want to know what your anticipating to pay back to our wonderful :( IRS.

Also, how have you planned for paying your sales taxes. Did you create a savings account? Did you invest money in a CD for 6-12 months?

I believe we could get some valuable info from this thread.

This year I'm looking to pay $X,XXX in taxes. I've just kept enough aside this year to pay, but I'm gonna look into investing next year (I think).

One of our vendors stores all of their taxes in a high yield money market account. This might be a better idea than using a CD. Most will make frequent deposits and few deposits when doing for taxes. With the economy is right now savings/investments are shot as far as a return.

You're asking people to tell you how much they pay in taxes?

I don't think so. :)

With regard to how we manage tax money, every month-end we transfer an estimated amount into a special savings account. We pay our tax bill quarterly, so whatever is in the account gets sent over to the government, and then we settle at year-end where we either owe or get a refund.

Taxes suck.
