no not from auctions, if from auctions, the ones that went for a minimum price - $18 or $60 etc...

It depends on how you define "big". I have picked up dropped domains from auctions for say a few hundreds, and sold it for a few thousands in a few months. But would it be better to register one for ten bucks and sell it for a few hundreds?

i was just thinking as long as you could get some good ones,

there are many domains at the drop auctions that go, crazily high.
i think they are worth usually less. but currently dropped names, i see soon ending are already in bidding wars.
