View Full Version : Mentor needed

Hi,

I am doing the business plan for my hosting service, to be launched next year.

I already searched a lot on the web and on this great forum. However, what I am in need now is a Mentor, who could talk to me, discuss ideas, ways to implement, bring his expertise and experience, to help create/develop my plan.

On the other hand, the mentor will, along the process and discussion, rethink or have different ideas from his side as well.

I am not asking for dedicated time amount per week.

What I am asking is someone with experience, expertise, open minded and willing to help, to help me in order to give a better shape to my idea, via email, chat, whatever you think it is best, or whatever way is suitable for you.

Please contact me (via this post or PVT), so I can provide more info about myself and what I have in mind.

Your help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks and Regards. Marcos

I didn't have a mentor perse but RossMAN (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/profile/RossMAN) did help me out a lot when I was first thinking about web hosting. Hell, he even called me up and we chatted for quite a bit about things I should know, strategies to consider, and other various Dos and Don'ts.

Marcos, where are you located..
There's allot of people with experience, but your better off using the experience of someone in the same country as you so you don't get told incorrect information about business.

hmm....ask Aussie Bob. :)

he seems to have the Midas Touch and is respected throughout the hosting community.

I would be willing to help. I like to talk with small hosting companies and guide them - this is what trade show conversations and networking is for!

I'm going to go out on a whim here, and guess you are getting a lot of "mentors" who are willing to give you a good deal on a reseller account :stickout:

Best of luck:agree:
