I was wondering what issues there are when
running chilisoft asp compared to a full blown iis/windows solution? Hows support for 3rdparty components? speed? reliability? security? Access databases?
ANY feedback would be greatly appreciated.

You need windows to run an access database.

There is only one choice for ASP... for security, extendability, reliability and that's IIS on the Windows platform.

You request IIS to use 3rd party components. ASP 3 has more features than ASP 2 which ChiliASP is based upon. I found ChiliASP to be very unstable. You can control an applications isolation on IIS which you cannot do on ChiliASP.
