What is more reasonable:"Live Help"(chat on line) or "Hotline"(support on telephone)?

Just curious....Would be gratefull if you express your opinion...

I myself, prefer being able to speak, and actually hear the operator's voice. Because if it's a live chat you could be talking to some 14 year old kid, without even knowing. Phone support is by far the most professional way to go...;)

Well, i don't really like talking on the phone, because I always forget something that i suppose to ask, "Live chat" or email will do me fine. :)

Both are nice, but a telephone number is essential. There are some hosts that have survived without one, but I think they are in the minority.

If live chat is available 24/7, I don't mind, but I like a phone number for emergencies. Nocster.com doesn't provide phone support, but if the server goes down, I can always call Burst and alert them (they just won't do anything else for me over the phone).

Well, if you are considering international clients, live help is better.
They won't pay international calls and you'll be able to understand clients with bad accent.

That's very correct. For international clients you need to have live chat, but for local clients I will prefer a hotline.

I would like to have chat online. I do not prefer speaking to all the people calling.

live chat suits me more, especially if the host is located on the other side of the world -- i hate those long distance charges!
