Should I be worried if the page of the host I use (Shaghost) is compleatly down? My own website is still working, and hasn't been disrupted... but still... is that not a good sign? Or am I overreacting?

Chances are they are just doing some maintenence or there may be a small DNS issue ... are you getting a 404 error, or a DNS error? What's happening to it?

It's just compleatly blank. No error message or anything... just a white screen.

I was referring a friend over to the host, and they came back with, "What host?"

As kcdworks said, they could very well be working on the site.
I'd give it a little time and see.

Weird that there is absolutely nothing on site.

blank page usually means updating the site.. you should shoot them an email just incase they dont know.. also pings and traces are going through fine so I would not worry about anything.
