Hello everyone,
At the moment I mainly do cPanel/WHM reselling and i was wondering does DirectAdmin have a reseller system like this? Or it only works with cpanel company?

Directadmin works similar to cPanel. http://www.site-helper.com/ should give you an overview. Basically DA distinguishes between 3 levels of users:
- admin
- reseller
- (end) user

The thing I like about DA is that all of the levels use the same interface and are integrated with one another. So if you are ad admin, you can click to switch rolls easily. If you're a reseller, you can switch between reseller and user easily. Which cPanel/WHM there are NOT integrated and don't even look like they're made by the same company. They have two separate logins with two separate sites and they just don't flow well together. I think this is a setback for cpanel and I think they would do well by finding a way to integrate the two and merging the interfaces so one doesn't have to learn to apps.

If you haven't tried DA, I would suggest you try its demo asap. You will love their GUI. The stability is proven, not like cPanel.

DA handles things much better in the reseller department, IMHO. It's very nice to get into your user's control panel as the administrator and not suffer from reduced functionality. I understand the idea behind cPanel to ensure security, but one should lock down their root login, anyway, so that shouldn't be as much of a concern.
Afterall, if someone obtains a root login, they won't need to login to the control panel to wreak havoc.

You do not log in with the root account in DA anyway. The Admin account is a seperate *nix user account.

But from the admin user, you can access all the functions of your clients websites to troubleshoot or find out what's going on.
With cPanel, you can also do this, but many functions are limited, like fantastico and others. In order to work these things, you have to ask your client for their password and many are uncomfortable doing so. With DA, I don't have to worry about it; I can access all via the admin account and see exactly what they see and do exactly what they can do. Much easier, less complicated, more user-friendly, and the price beats cPanel. There are just too many reasons that DA is better, in my opinion.
Even my clients that originally were hesitant to use DA because they were used to cPanel, have come to love it for it's simpler user interface and well-laid-out functions.

Sure, but I just wanted it clear that the Admin account is completely seperate from the Root account. Root can't even log into DA.
DA is secure and flexible and I like that. Also Installatron's flexibility beats Fantastico's hands down.
Skins are also not complicated and neither is using resellers as they were built in from the start.
