You will need to ensure that you setup your switch properly for SNMP access so that Zabbix can communicate with the switch to get the data. Have you entered in all of the necessary SNMP community strings and UDP port information into Zabbix to properly communicate with the switch? Do you have any access controls that would limit what IP addresses can access management on the switch?
