View Full Version : Then PC-Core.com or digitalworldhost.com
James eagles 09-25-2008, 12:49 AM Guys I'm looking for reseller affordable hosting plans,
I found these two are ok with my budget
pc-core.com and digitalworldhost.net,
so any review about these two? any one have tried them before and have good/bad expereience
there is also this company which is evern cheaper but i don't know hosthunger.com
do a search will tell you a lot.
1. Both use burstnet network.
2. digitalworldhost.net cannot be making money with prices like that.
3. pc-core claims not oversold but 450GB Bandwidth, that's oversold.
I think both are using the shared unmetered network which is not DEDICATED bandwidth.
oliviakitty 09-25-2008, 03:31 AM I'm not a current customer of either company.
Although I had a brief encounter with PC Core.
I just want to urge you not to go "cheap" when starting a business.
James eagles 09-25-2008, 10:04 AM digitalworld net, claims that they have 0 negative review would that be right ?
railto 09-25-2008, 12:53 PM i have used pc-core for a dedi box and i would be a liar if i said that their service is good. they take ages to reply to anything and i had to get the owner involved on more than 1 occasion, stay away from them for your own sake
dhcart 09-25-2008, 02:48 PM I have looked the offers of digitalworldhost Their reseller hosting prices start with $2.99/month :) It's too cheap. If you want to get a good service and looking for a reliable provider when stay away from too cheap solutions.
PremiumHost 09-25-2008, 08:17 PM digitalworldhost relaunch their service in August.
There's not much information about them before that.
there is also this company which is evern cheaper but i don't know hosthunger.com
Hosthunger.com is registered for only 1 month.
Cody Salter 09-26-2008, 04:27 AM i have used pc-core for a dedi box and i would be a liar if i said that their service is good. they take ages to reply to anything and i had to get the owner involved on more than 1 occasion, stay away from them for your own sake
Can you provide some ticket numbers I can look into? Response times vary on the priority of the ticket which is based on the severity of the issue and the initial ticket priority.
Looking at stats in the last 120 days we have met our SLA times 98% of the time, most of which not being met in the last week due to network maintenance which caused a large queue/flow of tickets.
Thanks.
proyekmaya 10-02-2008, 08:03 AM I can only make a comment about digitalworldhost.com... as i post this reply, i also would be a liar if i said that their service and support is good. Take two days or more just to reply a ticket and even as i type this post they seems ignorance to answer their new reseller questions! (i bought a digitalworldhost.com master reseller account). Personally what i can see is that they have a bad respond time in replying a ticket. Can you imagine if you face a critical issue on your reseller account such as restore/moving one of your client account ? and when you ask their help, they seems disappear ??
From what i can see so far, seems that they only have one person who operates the whole thing that also act as the owner. Hard to rely on this type of webhost... especially if the main guy/owner take the holiday and leave you with the headache and frustration.
That's what i experience for the last 3 weeks. And i'm still waiting for their good will concerning my ticket before we take some necessary action on the matter.

What is your domain with us?
Red_wolf6 10-02-2008, 12:50 PM Go with DigitalWorldHost.com , I read Many bad reviews about pc-core and their slow support !
Good Luck ;
Netunt 10-02-2008, 03:23 PM I can only say this about PC Core. I was with them for a few days, server speed wasn't bad, until downtime hits. No planned maintainace, no email of notice. I left there and then. Support is slowish compared with HawkHost.com but it might just be HawkHost being fast.
proyekmaya 10-03-2008, 03:51 PM What is your domain with us?
Please have a look at my profile to find out my domain. However, (finally) i got your attention and seems that you easily solved my ticket within hours since i 'speak up' in the forum. Thanks for that!
Just an advice, you'd better speed up your respond time to your clients ticket to maintain your 0 bad review. Waiting 2 or 3 days just to get your reply is too much i think.
Anyway, i'll be sitting on your tail to help you grow 'bigger' in this business guys.

Hello,
An email will be sent soon explaining the reasons for our slow response recently. But in short we had issues with a former employee and things did not go very smoothly. This is no excuse and I hope you are willing to give us another chance.
Regards,
Tang
