I own a Cobalt Raq4r.

If somebody is sending a mail bigger than 5 Mb he get's the following message:

Sitewide message size limit exceeded (5120000) servererror 552 (0x800ccc6d)

I changed Maximum Message Size (MB) (E-mail parameters, server management) to 20 but this doesn't help.

Is this a known problem, please help !!!

How big is the webspace of this person?
(not sure if this has anythin to do with it)

The webspace is set to 25Mb and the mailbox space is set to 20Mb

In control panel - email server you can configure email size, by default is 5 MB

Or ask your users to enable mail splitting in Outlook express..

Let them set is e.g. to 800KB.

A mail of 4 MB will then be sent in 5 parts + 1 mail which will merge them together in Outlook express...

I changed the email size in control panel to 20Mb but this doesn't help.

I have noticed that sometimes you need to change things more than once... or even just SSh into the RaQ and manually restart things once you change them on the control panel.
