Network:

Leaseweb's network has been designed for high levels of redundancy and scalability. It connects our four POP's to tier-1 carriers and 10 internet exchanges across Europe and one in the USA. Our core and edge routers are interconnected through(multiple) 10 gigabit ethernet wavelenghts or direct dark fiber connections. We have chosen the tier-1 network carriers carefully to complement each other and provide sufficient performance in case of problems. Also we are connected to "the big three" - these are the three biggest internet exchanges in the world: AMS-IX in Amsterdam, DE-CIX in Frankfurt and LINX in London. Other internet exchanges across Europe have been carefully chosen to ensure the best possible network connectivity. This results in the highest bandwidth and lowest latency. We uphold a policy of always having more than double internet capacity than is used by our customers which is currently around 100Gbit/s. Thus we have now a total external network capacity of over 220Gbit/s and our internal network capacity exceeds 1 Terabit/s. Our extended 24h/365d network monitoring allows us to proactively react and prevent the network issues before they appear. We also monitor networks of our providers to always provide our customers with the best available network path to all destinations. Test our download speeds 10MByte.bin (http://85.17.128.2/10mb.bin)or 100MByte.bin (http://85.17.128.2/100mb.bin).

Maybe, but if they manage over 10,000 servers cant they have a 24/7 online support team?

Upon the order submission, it will show you the server you're ordering, the total and then it will also say "View total Including VAT" if you then click that it will display the total for you. It's not hard to check...

Which server did you go for? It clearly states the set up times. I went for an "Express" server and it was set up within 1 business day, as stated by their information section. Which type of server is yours?

Have you tried contacting them? I find sending an email to support@leaseweb.com or opening up their live chat and giving a brief outline of the problem helps.

i paid on the 20th, it is the 23rd now, no reply to any of my emails, not setup yet.
I hope they will not try to charge my next billing date from my payment date, because if thats the case i am losing 20$ a day!
I want my next billing date to be charge from setup date.

The 20th was a weekend, and they function based upon business days. For example, if your server set up is 5 business days and you order on a thursday evening, it will take until the next week to be online.

Friday = 1 business day
Saturday = /
Sunday = /
Monday = 2 business days
Tuesday = 3 business days
Wednesday = 4 business days
thursday = 5 business days

So, you ordered an unmetered server, which means the set up time is 3 - 5 business days. This means that your server, at the latest, will be set up on friday of this week, and at the earliest tommorow.

You should have read the terms first though, it is clearly stated: here (http://www.leaseweb.com/en/products/dedicated-servers/faq).

Have you tried emailing support@leaseweb.com to request information on your server set up time? I found when I did this they responded by in a timely manner with the information I required.

We noticed that there is some obscurity about our setup time and what LeaseWeb considers to be business hours/days. Let us explain:

Our Technical Support Team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. Other departments (Sales and Administration) can be contacted during business hours: Monday - Friday 0830am - 1730pm GMT +1. Currently our Live Sales Chat is also available during that period.

Once we have received an order and payment, the order will usually be processed within 24-48 hours. It may take slightly longer for orders placed just before or during the weekend. Orders are processed during business hours/days only.

The setup time of Express Servers is 1 business day or within 24 hours. This depends on the exact moment the order and payment is received. The setup time of non-Express Servers is currently 5-7 business days. The only exception is the Unmetered Server 1. That server can also be online in 1 business day or within 24 hours.

Seems very strange, are you sure they didn't tell you anything else? I guess it probably is best for you to request a refund, however, I ordered my server around the 20th, and it's been online for 5 days now... Could it be a problem with lack of hardware?
