Hello dear WHT'ers!


I've recently bought the following domain names:

WHPlace.com
WHPlace.org
WHPlace.net
WHPlace.info

(Which means: Web Hosting Place)

I'm thinking to change CyberSP.org to WHPlace.com and making a new website, more profissional, only for Shared/Reseller Hosting industry.

VPS will be later, as I don't provide VPS Service any more.

What do you think about the Name?

I think I'm falling in love for them!

I don't know, I think WHPlace is much better.

Yeah, I got them.

I was thinking about WH... so.. WebHosting... then Place. Says everything!

Then managed to get all the domain extensions, got them in godaddy :D

Let's see if my website, which is comming (I asked like.. web 2.0), if it gets more people!

Also, i've been reading a lot here on WHT how to advertise properly. :D

Yes, I will be using the .com, the other extensions are parked domains only :)

Ultimately its your decision, so if you want to rename go for it.

Sounds like a good name to me. It is however ultimately your decision if you would like to change your companies name. Just remember that there may be set backs to this.

I agree with everyone here. The name is short, sweet, to the point. It's somewhat 'catchy' so it will be easy to remember. Good luck with that.

The name is very important in everything (even in real life it matters what your name is).
But it's not all :P
Having a website for a niche (in your case shared and reseller are the niche... very big market but still a niche) is very common in the industry. You may want to look at Resellerzoom / HostingZoom as an example or AxisHost / ServerManagementPlus as another example.

I believe your new name is good but abandoning your current name completely will be a setback (unless you have no customers). If I were you I would use the new name in a niche market as I said and made the transition as painless as possible for my current customers (even keeping a redirect from cybersp to your new domain for a new month / 1 year is a solution)

Exactly, my objective is to transfer my current clients, but slowly.
The prices will remain all the same, and even the OLD DNS will work, just like WHMCS will be redirected to the new domain name.
The accounts, will be exactly the same as well and with it, I hope this change to be fast, as an improvement to my services, regarding a better domain name.
