I think for $10 you need to show something more...

He's not asking how fast you can make it, or how plain it is...Some people like simplicity.

I'm just trying to make a few bucks here to support my new site (advertising, hosting etc...) My usual terrain is web design. I put together wmd-internet.com in a little bit of time to serve as a little something more than a placeholder. My latest client website is in preview at http://caudill.wmd-internet.com . That's off the point, my point is that some people are not good at making banners, and also that I need a few bucks and portfolio entrys.

Personaly... charging people for banners.. I don't like it! But then again its all about the money these days :rolleyes:

Yes, It is about money :) But I'm trying to provide a valuable service. I'll wait a few days and then offer some cheap web design. Do you think $25 for a 5 page site would go over good?

Well, not that $10 for banner or $25 for a 5 page site isn't dirt cheap, however you may want to just have a bit of fun and offer to design a few sites for friends of yours and a few banners for free for them. They'll appreciate it and you will get some nice portfolio examples to show off and sell your services with. Just a suggestion...
