What is the safest way to update clamav in cpanel. It seems that cPanel updaes are not doing it ?

But that doesn't update the version ... what is the correct and safe way to do it on a cPanel server is what I realy need to know?

freshclam only updates the virus definition.

You can follow the tutorial here to update your version

After running the clamav update I am getting this in my email every 5 minutes ?

Not sure updating clamav would could cause this... any ideas?

I reinstalled perl and seemed to work.
