I am curious what your opinion would be:

1) Would you purchase ad space on Transit Buses to get attention?

2) if so, which city would you choose?

3) What design layout you want to design?

4) Adversiting on buses getting popluar nowdays, evenaully people will get know your company more.

I realized the ad cost average $7,000 a month or $40,000 a year. Our transit bus system here cost $16,000 a year. i know few transits can give you good deal.

What do you feel if you did this, I am sure you will get a something new, becuase I never see any "ISP" adversite on Transit Buses or maybe you already saw, I would like to see them!

Just a cool idea, doesn't it? Even if you hate buses but they are popular nowdays to use buses even if you ad in Cailforina which carry million passengers monthly.

In next 2-3 months, me and my other 4 buddies will purchase ad space just for fun to see if we get more people know my organzation etc etc.

I wanna hear your voices :)

Thx! :)

Hmmm... I read this thread topic as "host ADVERSITY on transit buses." And having suffered through some adversity on buses from time to time, I thought I'd have something to share!

Seriously, depending on what your business is and what your goal is I suppose it might be worth looking into. Really seems that it would be more useful for brand-building than for actually picking up customers (unless you could find some way to let people click on that bus and be taken to your site). That is, people will see your ad on a bus and will have to remember it, and remember to act on it later. Generally, that takes repeated viewing of the brand before that reaction actually happens, as opposed to -- for example -- a tv or radio spot where many people have a phone handy or can easily go online and act on what they hear or see.

And of course if you have (or want) a national or international presence, advertising on one city's buses would have to be a drop in your marketing budget.

So if you're going to do it, what city? Only one option, NYC!

JTY,

Acutally I am looking at these cities:

Miami, FL
Orlando, FL
New York City, NY
Rochester, NY
Minneapolis, MN
Los Angels, LA
Portland, OR

Thoses are the cities with high percentage of deaf people living in that town and I want to promote my organzation better and well known....

The company that had the ad was Seanet http://www.seanet.com/ it's been quite a while though. BTW: I'm near Seattle, WA.

I think I saw an ad for Pacifier http://www.pacifier.com/ in Portland, OR.

Does anyone know of anywhere that posts any sort of statistics on this in regards to Internet issues and busses?
