I am not sure of the technical term for this, please excuse my ignorance :)

I have a specialty niche that I plan on creating template driven hosting for. The customer will fill in specific fields, select a template, and the page will be up and running.

I will design the templates and include the code needed for them.

I am not sure if such thing exists. I was planning on using a multi-user blogging software and creating special Control Panel that prompts for what I want to expose to them.

Anyone has ideas, or done similar concept?

Are you talking about a site builder? There are tons of them.

My understanding of site builders is that they allow the user to modify the content, and design the site the way you like.

I am talking about an existing site layout and everything. They just provide their name, address, and couple of other options and everything else is done for them.
