I hear it's incompatible with redhat 7.2, but works with 7.1. Does anyone know whether it works with 7.3?

Duron 1 ghz, 1.1 ghz, 1.2 ghz, and 1.3 ghz all work perfectly on every system i've built with 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3.

Just curious, where did you see this incompatibility issue. Word of mouth, written report, manufacturer ??? I have never heard any problems with any AMD product and Linux. All my home sytems that I have built use AMD processors and they run beautifully.

Something my host said. I had read a post on here, don't know which motherboard it was in relation to, that was incompatible with 7.2. I assumed it was the same one. It was a system being offered by rackshack.

doubtful.. I have an 800mhz Duron right here in front of me that's had RedHat 7.3 loaded on it without issue. In fact it ran like a dream until I reformatted (unrelated issue)
