Dear WHTers,

We have a new Windows server with Atjeu and I want to buy any cheaper PLESK license cause Atjeu's price for PLESK 100 domain license is $39.99 which is touch expensive!

Any hoster / IT site lets you purchase PLESK seperately?

I read this somewhere on WHT only...

Many hosts providing dedicated servers or co-location will rent Plesk at a decent monthly rate. If you do not wish to actually BUY the license and simply rent it, you can get a pretty good deal.

Can anyone give me about any such host?

The price quoted is the standard retail rate for Plesk. Most server providers can beat that price, normally be a good margin.

Last time I checked, LayeredTech offered it for $25/mo.

In terms of where to buy it cheaper, there seem to be few Parallels resellers - I think your best bet is finding a similar server somewhere that sells Plesk cheaper.

I wanted to keep the server with Atjeu only and thats why I decided to buy PLESK from elsewhere.

@myserve,

Can you give me the name of that company?

I was unable to manage SQL from my PLESK license cause I now need to include Power pack in order to do that. Add $25 more...this is killing!

Any cheaper option?

I don't believe Parallels license policy allows you to sell their products outside of partnered facilities. At least, no agreement we've been shown does.

One thing you might ask about - there are several different license tiers for Plesk depending on how many domains and what assortment of add-ons you're using. The Power Pack shouldn't be necessary to use SQL.. I'd contact their support if that feature just isn't functioning.
