You cant honestly expect me to take care of them while they are there. I mean, I dont even know the first thing about sheep. Can someone walk me through it? Whats your support like. Also insurence. What happens if one of them dies? 1. We have RAID (Random Access Internet Data) that prevent any problems. We always download the latest patch from Microshaft. 2. Managed sheep take about 20 lbs of grass but our Uninterrupted Feeding Supplies will sustain this rate with no problem. 3. We always duplicate data, so that if the sheep dies, the clone kicks in with no loss. LOL :D Acroplex 09-05-2002, 10:37 AM Yes, we upgrade our servers often. Once the old hardware becomes redundant, we systematically KILL -9 the old one and run a batch process at the local Fry's. Nothing gets wasted, free drinks as well. Extra Ram costs a little extra, as they need some ample space to accommodate the bits (and other pieces of equipment) that exist in their undercarriage. StevenG 09-05-2002, 10:51 AM So a Ram would be a 2U then? Or maybe 3U? How much for a GIG of RAM in our sheep? mlovick 09-05-2002, 11:03 AM Originally posted by Dotcomsnz So a Ram would be a 2U then?
