Hello,

I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right forum, so if not, I apologize and don't hesitate to move it.

Anyway, I just completed a website on my server, and I want to put a hit counter on it. I don't want the ordinary kind that shows up as a number on your home page. I'm looking for something that's invisible (only I can see it), runs on the server, doesn't only count the hits but records who hit me (IP address or something) and when.

Is there a program I can download for this or something I can program?

I'm running Windows Server 2003 with IIS 6.0.

Thanks for any forthcoming help.

Yeah, Go with Google Analytics, it has lots of reporting features and graphs that will be built in. Plus if you ever need to advertise, you've got the industry standard already embedded within the website.

I use this and it's been nothing but helpful. I also recommend Google Analytics.

Google Analytics or Urchin(Which is a product by google)

They are by far the 2 best 'hit counters' out there.
