looking for any info help here please.

seem to have a problem with my domain name. hoping someone can tell me where i am going wrong.
i have an account on nameservers what will let you point your domain to any server.

like
ns1.mydomain.com
ns2.mydomain.com

^^ i have this with 1 domain name this works great.

my problem is trying to set my other different domain name to my dedicated server.
there is another option on nameservers that will let u
"Please choose the hostname and enter the IP for registering your nameserver"

so i enter
ns1.mydomain >> xx.xx.xx.98
ns2.mydomain >> xx.xx.xx.99
ns3.mydomain >> xx.xx.xx.100
ns4.mydomain >> xx.xx.xx.101
ns5.mydomain >> xx.xx.xx.102
with the 5 ip's i have.

done this last thursday & still domain name cant be found when i type it in , with or without "www"

where have i went wrong ? any help would be great

You registered the nameservers, but did you then point the domain to it?

Can you post the domain itself perhaps?

I agree, more details are needed.

It really depaends on what your doing here. In Cpanel/WHM for example, you have to assign nameservers to IPs. Then your DNS record has to point to the nameservers. Then your domain has to have the namservers registered.

For example. i have mydomain.com. If it had ns1.myhost.com, i could create a host on my registrar called ns1.mydomain.com to point to the same IP. But if you are createing a new nameserver based on IPs you have, you would first need to create a DNS entry for them. For example, in WHM/Cpanel, There is a place to assign nameservers to IPs. Then you have to add a record to your DNS to pick it up.
