Hello I am thinking about buying a dedicated server and starting my own reseller company. I would like as much input as I can from experiences with the following control panels:

Ensim
Plesk
CPanel

if there are any other good control panel types out there that you recommend I'd also like to hear about them. I've read up quit substantially on each but I really feel as though I might as well hear from people who have had experience with control panel types and issues that they have had to put up with. Thanks for your time in reading this and I hope I can figure out what dedicated hosting panel will be the best to open up a business.

CPanel is the best. easy to use and understand.

ensim and Cpanel

Ensim is by far the worst IMHO. Plesk looked ok from a few times i sampled it, but had almost no featuers, CPanel is the best out of the three IMHO, but i hear H-Sphere is pretty good too :D.

CPanel is the best, total control.

We use CPanel since people seem to like it, but H-Sphere is definately cool too.

We currently have CPanel/WHM installed on our servers and overall we are happy with it.

CPanel markets itself, well known, very user friendly - both admin and client sides, feature packed and all in all great value for both you and your clients :D

If it was possible to not have a control panel for shared accounts then that is what I would do. I HATE control panels. ;-) And CPANEL stinks.

cpanel sucks. You want a quality program that acually releases new versions on time, check out plesk. Whats it at, 1.5 years late for their "new" version

Actually the last update was within the past few days.... the new version of 4.9 is delivered right to your server when you need it :D

Exactly my point... who wouldn't, but you need one, so cpanel IMHO wins :D


I use both, cpanel and plesk.. cpanel wins hands down for my clients needs.... plesk is quality though too :D
