Here is my experience with enomcentral.com

I have a few domains that fell under enomcentral (result of a reseller going out of business). I have an account with them and my domains are showing up fine. They are all .CN domains.

Apparently, I am having a hard time getting my domains transferred out. All attempts to transfer out results in wrong EPP or locked.

Using their interface to email the EPP code results in an EPP code that is invalid or wrong. After calling technical support, they said you just need to submit a ticket to resync the EPP code. After submitting, the EPP codes still is invalid.

There is no option showing if your domains are locked or not, so tried unlocking via global settings, and applying unlock on all the domains. Still does not work.

Called technical support again, they said it should be fine, and go ahead and use the interface to email the EPP code. Tried transferring again. And still fails.

Called technical support. This time the engineer said .CN domains can't have the EPP mailed out. Must go through their ticket system. I asked if this is an ICANN rule. He basically
said yes. So he submits a ticket for me waiting on internal
engineers to handle it, and get back to me in 24 hours. Actually wants me to call back, to get the answer.

So basically I have no solution, and all the previous suggestions by their technical support basically did nothing to solve my problem of transferring .CN domains out of enomcentral.com

How do people transfer out .CN to other registrars? Is there an ICANN rule that says .CN are treated differently? Is this their technique to keep people on their registrars? Is this allowed?

Has anyone have similar problems?
