View Full Version : I'm back! And I made a cool business tool!
RandyT 09-08-2008, 03:44 AM Hi guys, I'm finally back. I've been gone for almost 2 years, and its because so many things happend in my life. I didn't mean to disapear but had no choice. Now I'm back! Yay! :D
Anyways, to "celebrate" me coming back, I thought maybe some of you guys could use this. I'm not finished at all, and it might take a few days to finish, but this is pretty much my trial and error version. Still need to add about 10 more pages, but this is pretty basic. Its a cash management tool for business planning. I thought I would share before its finished just in case anyone has any ideas you guys want implemented into it. And please make sure there easy, I'm a complete noob! lol
Anyways, I protected all the cells except the yellow ones just because the remaining cells all have coding in them.
BTW, you need OpenOffice to open it, sorry I'm not a huge fan of Microsoft Office :p

RandyT 09-08-2008, 04:15 AM ahh fine, you guys win!
Here it is in microsoft 2003. It might not work completly like I had it as I saved it using openoffice. BTW openoffice > microsoft office
Sparrow-Sean 09-08-2008, 04:17 AM Lol, When I open it am I supposed to see something amazing?
RandyT 09-08-2008, 04:19 AM Depends :)
Its supposed to be a cash management tool for small businesses. All yellow spaces can be edited, while the rest are locked. I'm no where close to being done, but thats for starters :)
Sparrow-Sean 09-08-2008, 04:21 AM All I get is nothing, Just a normal view as if I was to open a new Excel... ?
RandyT 09-08-2008, 04:23 AM There is 7 sheets, you are probably looking at the last 2-3 sheets which are blank.

pixeldawn 09-08-2008, 04:37 AM Welcome back.
RandyT 09-08-2008, 04:37 AM JetWash, it should still work on 07 as it has the compatibility mode. Go to sheet other sheets, unless its just not working. Also its saved as an XLS which is an 07 extension IIRC.
And no I'm not Randy Trams aka Randola. I have no clue who that is ?
Energizer Bunny 09-16-2008, 02:32 PM Hey noob randy welcome back, i know running from cops can be hectic and can require going underground.
But to use the system, would i need to have cash on me first ? Can this be applied for Carrot Management instead ?

You don't not need cash up front, it will just show a negative balance if you spend more $ then earn. And I'm not sure what Carrot Management is :p
Also, I will have the completed version in about 2-3 days. It has way more information on it then this, shows your cost of everything including tax, and a simple to read front page which will be a brief description of all $ in and out.
