Dougy 09-06-2008, 04:46 PM There is one already. http://wap.webhostingtalk.com/ N|Kitmitto 09-06-2008, 05:30 PM O man this is sweet. Thanks! I love it! SoftWareRevue 09-06-2008, 09:41 PM Maybe we need to get an auto-switcher for when members are mobile. :) The Dude 09-06-2008, 09:44 PM Some sites auto detect that Denny,i think we should consider giving it a trial run....... Sheps 09-06-2008, 09:50 PM Shouldn't be too hard. Would just need to get the useragent for it the WAP browsers. There are full browsers that shouldn't need that though(stupid iPhones) N|Kitmitto 09-06-2008, 10:38 PM Do it!! I dare ya! dotRoot 09-07-2008, 02:04 AM I think all you have to do is to implement a check to see if the browser is known user-agents, like IE, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, etc. and then if not, then check if the browser supports WML. If it does then just have a simple WML page that asks whether you'd like to view the Mobile version of WHT or the normal version. Maybe even store the choice as a cookie. It is very hard to see the texts if there are those annoying ads, especially the peel downs. |
