Let's say I am a client and I want to do this:

Could me? a web hosting company do this?


Is it possible for me to upgrade additional web space?
How will I modify that? can I add let's say 1mb to that account?
Or, they have to upgrade to the next plan?
My bandwidth is full? Can you add more like 1gb more for a month? is this possible?

I'm guessing you mean in the context that you have a reseller plan and a client asks you these questions...

1. Yes, it is.
2. Usually in your control panel you can add any amount starting from 1mb up.
3. If you want them to - good way to increase revenue ;)
4. That is also possible, but it's up to you to charge them or not.

Ok, that's good.

You can make those changes in WHM but you could also ask them to upgrade to the next plan as otherwise you need to know how much to charge them for just a little bit more than they had before.

Don't forget that although you can allocate as much as you need too (if overselling is enabled) your customers altogether can only use up to the limits of the reseller plan you bought.

As Tim mentioned you can make those changes in WHM, and just to elaborate further, it is very easy to to add more storage, and more bandwidth to a single specific client. WHM is point and click and very user friendly. Most reseller accounts come with the cPanel/WHM package. You also have the option of creating a custom package for any client if they ask for something different than your listed packages. If your reseller account comes with a billing system like clientexec, you can also change the billing for a specific customer and invoice them for the upgrade.
