View Full Version : DomainKeys and SPF - Do you set them "on" by default?

Hello,

We're just setting up a new cpanel server and reviewing our policy regarding email authentication schemes.

cpanel includes support for DomainKeys and SPF, but it is off by default for new cpanel installations.

We are leaning towards activating both SPF and DomainKeys by default for new accounts created on the server... but I figured I'd post here first to get more opinions.

Thanks!

For quite sometime now we have them activated by default, no harm doing that.

But then SPF record should not restrict them using some other SMTP service, so you have to decide how you are going to implement it.

I use SPF almost all the time, but I'm generally too lazy to bother setting up DomainKeys.
