Hi
If you remember few days ago I asked you guys to suggest a laptop from Compaq and Toshiba, well I went for toshiba as suggested by most of guys and bought new Toshiba satellite 1100 notebook with celeron 1.2 ghz model. :spiny:
The notebook computer is very good and I got it packed in cartoon with decent carry bag with front lather panel.
The laptop looks good and came with all accessories like, adaptor, rj45 cable and restore cd + manual. I tested the laptop and it works properly. It has windows xp home addition installed and works great. :)
Hey do you guys have any suggestions for new laptop which I should conceder for properly working and long life of laptop?. I was specially concerned regarding power saving functions for hard drive, will it degrade life of notebook hard drive because in theory (3-4 years back) I read hard drive live longer if there are less shutdowns etc. does this still apply?
